Work It Out is one more song about relations, but this time about the way they are falling apart and one can do nothing about it. Keyshia pleads the male-character to be more tender and attentive to her. Give Me More is a very sencere track with a penetrating melody about personal relations problem, familiar to many women - lover's coldness and lack of affection demonstration. The last composition features Amina, Keyshia's protege. This theme of unhappy life experience is brillianlty developed in such emotional songs, as Fallin' Out and Shoulda Let You Go. Got To Get My Heart Back is a wonderful song about broken relations, when a woman should go away to recover after the unfortunate love. This upbeat club track has already gained all dancefloors in the USA. Let It Go, recorded with such legends of Hip-Hop, as Missy Elliott and Lil'Kim, became the first single from the album. She was not afraid to demonstrate it on her new album and only gained of it - in today's commertially oriented R&B world, she seems to be the one, who really believes in what she sings about.

For some reason, the year old Last Night is thrown in as well a great track, yes, but one that weve been hearing for months now. Let It Go isnt necessarily anything special to begin with and its hard not to think of the B.I.G.
Just Like You feels a lot like the best R&B albums from Bad Boy in the ∙0s, but interestingly enough, the places where the Bad Boy influence is the most direct are the biggest problems. It may seem like she spends too much time on break-ups and pain, but those are the times when she feels the most sincere, so its ultimately better than her forcing out lyrics about a sunny day. The Anthony Hamilton assisted Losing You is a perfect example Keyshia does more than just sing well, she sings like she means it. Still, when shes given room, she delivers. In some cases, the tracks she sings on turn her gift into a curse, like on ∽idnt I Tell You, where her big vocals fight with the big beat. While her talents are unquestionable, the quality of Just Like You (Geffen) is still debatable. Sure, most of those girls cant sing anyway, but whatever the reasons are, Cole is becoming a rare breed.
While most of todays female R&B artists sell themselves with elaborate acts and top-dollar production, she is one of the few newer artists who lets her voice be the star of the show. More like the queens of Soul from days past than todays more common Pop divas, Keyshia Cole can sing her ass off.
